• Level 2 sees swimmers develop streamlining to their strokes and travel without their feet on the floor, using a recognised leg kick. • Swimmers are also introduced to aquatic breathing and taught to make safe entries into the water, including jumping. • They will develop basic floating and learn how to rotate to regain an upright position without support. Our Stages system sets students on a journey toward complete proficiency in all swimming strokes (e.g. freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly) and swimming skills.By following this framework, swimmers develop a wide range of skills, akin to completing a puzzle. When combined, these skills produce a competent, confident, and safe swimmer with the foundations needed to reach their potential in swimming and excel in a variety of water-based sports.

The focus of this squad is to continue and develop great skills and techniques that swimmers have learnt and homed in our LTS program.This squad program is targeting swimmers aged 7-9Sessions will continue to be technically focused using the BLABT training system.Junior squad will remain a fun environment for our swimmers, learning to become part of a team.If unsure on your child’s level please book an assessment of check the criteria of alternative levels.
